Alluder

A streaming experience by and for filmmakers. Alluder is a collaborative database designed for filmmakers to help them discover every one-shot, two-shot, crane shot, homage, literary reference, historical event, and Easter egg that went into making their favorite films. Download the extension to view posts others have made and create your own posts and stills. Press the white button to capture a still. Press the red button to begin capturing a scene and a second time to finish. Stills are saved to your profile and can be used to create look boards, mood boards, and pitches. Stills and scenes can also be used to create posts. Posts can either be public (viewable to anyone) or private (viewable only to you or the individuals you tag using @). Press “<” to open the Alluder sidebar. Here you can see posts others have made, cast information, and IMDb trivia. Permissions required: - "Read and change all your data on all websites": Alluder only tracks your activity on Netflix.com and Hulu.com. To capture a still or scene Alluder takes a screenshot to record what’s happening in the movie/show at that time you’re watching. As of now Google’s rules are such that permission is required to take a screenshot. - "Know your email address": By having your email address, we’re able to save the stills and scenes your record so that if you do sign up, that information won’t be lost.
