In our fast changing and interconnected world, most of us take our smart phones for granted. We use them to make our lives simpler, accomplish our goals, and save some time. But right now we can go further: We can use our devices as beacons to guide us through this pandemic. We can use them to save lives. Modern mobile phones are equipped with location tracking features which record where we've been lately. The most widely used service is the Google Maps Timeline, which accurately tracks and saves the places you visit. Privacy VS Germs, or PVG, uses Google location data to fight against global pandemic. Our software securely requests where you have been in the last three weeks, analyzes the times and coordinates, and identifies any potential contact with positive virus cases. We do not collect any addresses. To be sure you're comfortable with the details we'll be processing, you can easily review and edit any of your information.
