Marketo customers using Google Mail™ and Google Chrome™ can now unlock powerful insights for their sales teams. Marketo Insights for Google Chrome™ lets salespeople more deeply understand who their prospects are, and what they're interested in. This helps them engage prospects in a more meaningful way, increasing sales and shortening sales cycles.

Prior to engaging, salespeople can see relevant information about their prospects directly within Google Mail, including job titles, social profiles, company information, photos and more.
Better understand prospect interests

Salespeople can see in real-time what content prospects are engaging with across channels, such as emails opened or clicked, online or in-person events attended, web pages visited, eBooks downloaded and much more. 
Engage prospects more effectively

Emails sent through Google Mail are logged in Marketo and tracked in real-time. This lets salespeople see when prospects are looking at their emails so they can follow-up at just the right time. Marketo Insights for Google Chrome also makes it easy for salespeople to leverage templates created by marketing in order to send beautiful invites, offers and other types of content.

Marketo templates appear in alpha sorted order in the template select list

Fix to make Marketo Insights compatible with new GMail UI and to display Marketo template above gmail signature in the gmail body along with new Marketo logo

Fixed an issue which was causing the sidebar to overlap gmail editor and Marketo checkbox

Updated how tracking links are generated to prevent link hijacking.

Adds retry logic and additional logging to "Log with Marketo" and "Send with Marketo" functions to mitigate issues seen with spotty internet connections.

Fixes a bug where emails with only a single text/plain body would not have their message body properly logged

Fixes a bug where tracking token was incorrect on some links in email.

Adds support for tracking acceptance of FullContact terms

Fixes a bug where you may not be able to click around inside an email after using "Load Marketo Template".

Fixes a bug where the same email couldn't be logged by a user who had their invite revoked and resent.

Adds support for the newest version of Marketo link tracking.

Fixes a bug where the "Load Marketo Template" option didn't appear when replying to a message.  Fixes a bug where email subjects wouldn't be stored in the Marketo Lead Database under certain circumstances.  Fixes a bug where "Opened Sales Email" image tags might not be tracked properly.

Fixes a bug where links created in emails could be double tracked.  Adds support for Marketo's improved link forwarding format.  Fixes the sad cactus graphic's head to be round instead of square :-)

  • No longer syncing with gmail and logging emails. This is preventing our sales from properly tracking their leads. Please fix!

  • It's been more than three weeks since it is not synchronizing with gmail, we have reported this to them multiple time. They says we need to wait and see if other people are having the same problem, we don't wait to pay you subscription fees! I would not recommend this to anyone.

  • Gmail giveth multi-account sign on, Marketo taketh away. That's my biggest gripe with this tool right now, as Marketo requires you to be logged into one account to use it. It's also extremely slow (try sending emails for weeks with Marketo and then disable it -- your experience will be 95% faster). I'd love for Marketo to enhance this tool. It would be indispensable if it was and then I would happily update my review :)
