NTL MOD: The fastest mod for Slither.io
Have fun with the best, fastest and most advanced slither mod there is and start playing like a PRO. Although this is a team oriented mod, anyone can use it as a standalone slither mod and enjoy the game, take short brakes with circle bot and so on. The message that there is no team membership does not affect the quality or features of the mod (apart from the obvious ones... like: who are you going to chat with? :)). ****************************************************************************** If you want to use this mod to play with your friends or form a team, you need to donate via paypal to email@example.com to get your own auth keys and teamID. If you want to join an already existing team you need to contact the team owner for keys. Both need to be valid. Kill count: It wraps around the main communication function and intercepts a special packet, therefore it adds a little - sometimes - unnoticeable delay so I programmed the option to disable / enable it: option "Kills". To change its status you need to set it to "On after reload" and reload the game. When this option is enabled, you can further activate "screenshot on kills" which auto saves locally in your download, folder the pictures taken, with a name containing the current date/time. By default the mod turns off the download status bar in order to not distract you when manual screenshot or auto. You can re-enable it on-the-fly to check things out. Looking at saved pictures you can get an ideea of server induced lag... remember saved on kill means server confirmed the other snake died and now you can see the difference between what was on your screen at the moment of kill. You'll be able to spot snakes dying way before even reaching your snake (at least not visibly). This is caused by the update rollup (after snake bleed) which introduced this prediction mechanism (browser draws snakes without server confirmation of exact location) in order to "reduce lag" for all-around players (let me laugh on this one...) Chat: During gameplay the chat input line can be activated with right click (left is always for boosting) or with enter. It will stay focused until message is sent or clicked outside. During the typing, all other keyboard shortcuts are disabled, including the space bar which is also used for boosting. While in game menu left click works also for focus. Once a message is sent, the input line is disabled for a little while until the message is delivered. This is to prevent lag. Scrolling the chat window can only be done with right clicks (scroll is always used for zoom) (Yeah, I like to play, kill, boost etc while chat typing with left hand :)) or after window focus with PgUp/Down. Smart bot: When enabled bot gathers food up to 2000 points above which it can form the circle bot in both directions (clockwise / counter-clockwise). It also has some logic to prevent certain problems and can take different actions (sometimes the wrong way :)). When disabled it cannot gather food (goes in straight line) and above 2000 points can form circle only counterclockwise while if clockwise it coils as little as possible. The preferred way for circle bot is to form the circle yourself then when head near tail activate the bot and look for option "On" confirmation before releasing control. Background NTL stripes in background menu. Tiny dots: are used when many players present, to un-crowd the radar. Hide player list: it will only show player dots without the added text like score and status. Hide own dot: by default it show the standard white dot for yourself. If you have a custom dot u can replace the standard one with this option.
