A powerful QR code and bar code scanner that supports EAN-13/UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5 and QR Code symbologies (types of bar codes). The extension supports both scanning from camera or local images and keeps the history of the last 20 items. This extension does not rely on any external services to perform detection. There is no server-side interaction whatsoever. Also, note that you can drop local image files to the user interface of the extension to detect the code.
This extension uses ZBar c-library which is capable of detecting multiple QR codes and bar codes in a single frame.
