Have you followed someone on Twitch but you don't really care about their streams? You don't even want to see them in the list of the channels you follow? Well, you shouldn't be so mean... but this extension can hide those channels for you! Every channel you choose won't appear anymore (as shown in the first screenshot) in the column of followed channels. Although it will show in any other place where it would normally appear. In the extension's popup, channels can be added back to the column by clicking on their names (second screenshot). This extension has some interesting features that are worth taking a look at, like the use of MutationObserver (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/MutationObserver) to notice when some channel has started a new stream and it has been added to the live channels div, or the background-content-popup messagging. https://github.com/JMartinTorres/TTVHideFollowedChannel ❓ Questions to think about: What is the value of a follow? How did the Twitch stuff know that I was going to follow more people now that followed channels are not pubicly displayed? Does a lot people look at other people's followed channels? 🤔
