Cerberus

Identify attempts to manipulate your identity, beliefs and values online. The internet is full of foreign agents, trolls, and just plain weirdos trying to get you to join their weird belief systems. Wouldn't it be nice if you and your friends could let each other know every time you bumped into one? Then, when you went to a site your friend thought looked like social engineering, you could see right away, without asking them! Enter Cerberus: the little dot at the top of your browser. Just make an app for your friend group, and hit "Grr!" when you see something that could be a fake event or a fake site to sway your vote (or anything else!). The little dot at the top of your browser will turn yellow if a lot of your app members flagged the page, and red if a lot of them did. If only very few flagged the page, the dot will stay green. To share an app, just give your friend an app id. You can find it beneath the button for the app. When they enter it in the bar above "Find App" button, they will have access to it as well. Everyone with access contributes to the rating for a URL, green for okay, yellow for somewhat dangerous, or red for dangerous. As more app members contribute to the rating for a given URL, the color may change. It's all relative to your app's ratings for URLs across the entire internet! Make multiple apps and switch between them! Make apps for family, friends, political parties, religions, or anything you like! Happy browsing!
