If you add an eMail from Gmail, the mails title is set as the events title, the link to the mail is added to details and (in case you use multiple accounts) the event gets added to the calendar it belongs to.
This is especially meant for usage with gmail and tries to fill the gap that appears when dates are missing or gmail cant read the format so you can quickly add this event to gmail with a link to the original mail and you only add the date.
