🚀 What is TextGrab? 🚀 TextGrab is an extension that lets you select and copy text from videos and images! This includes Youtube videos, Google Meet meetings, and even Discord video calls! There are two ways to use TextGrab: A) 🔳 Full Element Selection 1️⃣ Activate full element selection mode using either the button in the TextGrab extension window, or using the shortcut Alt + C on Windows or Option + C on Mac 2️⃣ Click the image/video you want to be able to select text on 3️⃣ Use your mouse to select the text just as you would on any website! B) ✂️ Snip Tool Selection 1️⃣ Activate the snip tool in the extension window, or using Alt + T on Windows or Option + T on Mac 2️⃣ Create a rectangle with your cursor to select a portion of a webpage of where to copy text from 🖥 Supported Platforms ✔️ Youtube Videos ✔️ Google Meet (Selection mode isn't visible, however text can still be copied) ✔️ Discord ✔️ Zoom (To open zoom in the browser, you must click the Open in Browser instead button it attempts to launch the Zoom application). ✔️ Images (Some sites deny access to certain images) ☎️ Contact Us We are always looking to improve, so please shoot us an email at support@textgrab.io for any feedback, suggestions, or if you just want to chat about TextGrab! Head to options and select a highlight colour to be able to visually see which text was detected! - Cannot select a certain image/video? The website may be preventing access to it, or it may be nested in an iFrame (sort of like a website within a website), and it cannot be accessed because of security reasons.
