Audio Player

This extension works as a standalone audio player that supports many audio formats. It can play audio files by dropping them into the interface. It also can play the audio stream of video containers. The extension uses the well-known FFmpeg library to decode audio files. It supports FLV, WMA, MP3, MP4, WebM, and many more codecs. Features: 1. Boost audio level up to twice its original value (volume goes up to 200%, similar to the VLC Player) 2. Play almost all known media files (audio streams only) 3. Supports media keys (Play, Pause, Resume, Next and Previous Tracks) 4. Plays multiple files sequentially like a Desktop media player 5. Works offline 6. Written purely in JavaSCript 7. Supports keyboard shortcuts This extension is meant to fulfill the audio playback needs of the users on all operating systems without having to install a native application. Use Cases: 1. If you are on an OS that does not allow you to install a media player or have Chromium OS. 2. You want to play the audio stream only. Most media players can only play both video and audio. For instance, you have a recorded media from a concert, and you just want to listen to the audio while working. How to Use: Download a media file that the browser can not play (it does not support the codec). Drop the file into the audio player. You can use https://webbrowsertools.com/test-download-with/ to get AVI or FLV sample files. Technical Notes: 1. This extension only complied with the decoder section of the FFmpeg library. It can decode almost all types of known audio codecs. 2. It uses Emscripten to compile FFMPeg to WASM.
