This extension is designed to facilitate reading of the webpage written in your non-native language. Important: it isn't a translation service, so UniTranslator doesn't translate the whole page. It rather provides quick access to the dictionary of the concrete language pair. For instance, you need to read many English articles on the Internet but your native language is Spanish, and you understand almost everything except several words. With UniTranslator you can get translation of those ones without leaving the webpage. It's pretty handy that UniTranslator allows many language pairs. If you speak several foreign languages and read texts in all of them, you may create several translation profiles. Having the example above let's say that you also read in German. So you may create two profiles: "English to Spanish" and "German to Spanish". Moreover, UniTranslator supports handful of dictionaries, so you even may create more than one translation profiles for the same language pair but for different dictionaries. Like: "English to Russian with Multitran" and "English to Russian with Abbyy Lingvo". It allows to compare translations if you suspect that translation from the first dictionary doesn't fit to the context.
