Motion - Intelligent Website Blocker

Unlike other extensions that simply block sites, Motion is smart. Motion recognizes that distracting sites, like Facebook and Youtube, aren't entirely useless. For example, you might need to be on Facebook to maintain your business page, or Youtube to watch a tutorial. Instead of taking a simplistic approach of which sites are "bad", Motion lets you use distracting sites when you need to, but intervenes when you are getting distracted. Motion not only wants to help you stop wasting time on Facebook and Twitter, but also help you be the most productive elsewhere. Furthermore, Motion also wants to help you focus on the most important task at-hand, and not get sidetracked easily. ★Intervention on distracting sites Motion intervenes each time you visit a distracting site. If you need to use the site, Motion will let you choose how long you want to stay there - the default is one minute, but you can set other times as well on each visit. ★Countdown timer After you've chosen a time on a distracting site, countdown will be shown on the page to remind you how much time you have left. ★Start a focused session To prevent you from getting sidetracked, Motion lets you enter your current task at hand. That task will be shown on every page you visit, along with a countup timer that shows how long you've spent on the task. ★Periodic, non-intrusive reminders Each time you spend more than 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours on the same site, you'll receive a non-intrusive and disappearing reminder. ★Daily report on your productivity At the start of each day, Motion shows you a report of how you spent time on the previous day.
