Malicious_URL_Detector

It’s a product that consists of a website and a browser extension. Malicious URL Detector detects if the URL is malicious or not before letting the user visit it. Extension is linked with the system that is trained on a set of malicious and benign URLs dataset. Malicious URL Detector is trained on several different data science algorithms that we have developed. These algorithms makes use of lexical features of the urls. Patterns are generated as well as different Rules that are universally applicable on our dataset. On the basis of these rules and patterns system classifies different URLs into malicious and benign categories. Users are able to provide feedback that can be managed via their accounts on website part of Malicious URL Detector. This feedback is also available to admin who can update the system based on feedback, which improves out system. Users can scan a URL directly from the website and they can take a look at the details of product such as which data our system is trained on, how accurate it is in the form of graphs. User can download and install the extension with easy to use guide steps on the website.
